Bleona Qereti, known mononymously as Bleona, is an Albanian-American singer, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, model, and television personality. Now an American citizen, she has lived in California since 2010, collaborating with renowned producers such as Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, and Grammy Award winner David Foster.
Over her career, she has released eight studio albums. In mid-2013, she dropped the single Take It Like a Man, produced by StopWaitGo, which Maximum Pop praised as an “uplifting dance floor filler” with strong “girl power” energy. The song reached number 7 on the UK club charts, and she celebrated by headlining Las Vegas Gay Pride on September 7, 2013. Bleona was also invited to perform at the Palm Springs White Party in both 2013 and 2014. Following her stint as a judge on X Factor Europe, her 2015 single Take You Over climbed to number 3 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. She also recorded her version of the 1980s Italian hit Su di noi by Enzo Ghinazzi, with the music video shot at the iconic El Matador Beach in Malibu, California.
